Come visit the inaugural EST exhibition in the former Watergasfabriek in Leiden on 26 and 27 September 2020.

EST is what IS was.

Video, installation/sculpture, paintings and drawings from eight Leiden based artists working in the field one might  describe as non-objective or concrete art. Through design and installation of this exhibition, EST aims to add mutual added value and bring new light to this derelict and neglected building.

EST art foundation's purpose is to stimulate and explore new developments within concrete art. EST will initiate exhibitions, attract public attendance, invite international partnerships, house a library, a collection and host discussions to foster knowledge about concrete arts. Throughout, EST will operate according to Fair Practice principles.

COVID-19
Like all participants of the Kunstroute, EST follows the guidelines of the RIVM. We allow entry to 3 persons per 10m2. Kindly follow the instructions of the volunteers and please maintain appropriate distances to other visitors at all times.

No alcohol
The Watergasfactory (hydrogen gas power plant) is located next to a homeless shelters. For this reason the sale and consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited.
